Packing
Packing for Moving Day
A lot of people find moving to be very difficult, from arranging removal vans, keeping the kids
entertained whilst you sort everything out, bills and more. Moving can definitely be a stressful time
for the whole family, but one thing that most people hate above all else when it comes to moving is
the packing. This job can be quite tedious and boring, but packing doesn't have to be like
this at all! In fact, you can just pay somebody to do all of the wrapping and boxing up for you.
That's right; you really don't have to do any packing if you really don't want to do it. You can
hire a removal service which packs, wraps, loads and unloads all of your furniture and belongings
for you so you can avoid one of the most stressful aspects of moving. It costs a little extra for this
kind of service as apposed to simply hiring a removal truck, but it can be worth it, especially if
you simply don't have the time to pack and you have a hectic schedule. You won't have to worry about a
thing and you can get on with other important jobs such as sorting out the new house ready for all of
your neatly and professionally packed boxes.
If you don't want to spend the extra money on hiring somebody to do the packing for you, then you can
still lower stress and boredom levels by getting the whole family involved and having a checklist.
Make sure that you start around six weeks in advance of the move and begin to pack up non-essentials.
Each week there after pack a few boxes of items you don't use often up until the final week when you
should pack most things except for what you really need.
