Description
I am renting out my hand-crafted, 25 year-old square log cabin 35 minutes south of Indianapolis to thoughtful tenants wanting close proximity to the City, but also a home that ...

doubles as a pristine country retreat. I have lived and commuted from the cabin to downtown Indy, while past tenants have also commuted to Bloomington, Franklin and Columbus for work.
A side note about the cabin: A team of artists collaborated to put together the home, and I have taken great care to maintain their vision for the home. You'll still find their professional marks hidden throughout the house as you move from the custom designed cabinets in the bathroom to the living room's masoned fireplace with commissioned trip-tique painting to the unique, handcrafted flamingo door leading to a one-of-a-kind deck overlooking a Japanese-inspired (yet comfortably Hoosier) koi pond (filled with bass, blue gill and catfish instead of giant goldfish).
Below is the listing I have previously used for the last three years of renting it out. I've spent the last few months refurbishing the interior, so you really need to see the place to understand what a great deal you'll be getting!
I am renting out my gorgeous hand-built square log cabin. The house is perfect for a single person or a family of three. It sits on a two acre plot of land with its own apple orchard, Concorde grape vineyard, pond and forest. The cabin itself is a two bedroom one bath work of art - I've included an easy-to-download flyer so you can check out and zoom in on a ton of pictures. The house was built with 12in square-cut Douglas Fir logs from the Pacific Northwest, Cherry stairs, Oak cabinets, White Pine flooring, and Brown County stone chimney among some of the artistic details. This place is the perfect retreat that also happens to be an incredible place to live. You can run or mountain bike the trails through the woods, roadbike the country roads, work on a that novel you've been putting off, cozy up next to a fire and watch HBO, throw a party with 200 of your closest friends and 5 bands on your back porch, fish for bass, blue gill and catfish in the pond, hot tub in the snow, pick apples in the fall, and tele-commute using the home office - all within a short drive of civilization. Please email me back or call my cell phone if you or somebody you know would be interested in renting my place or if you have any questions at all about the place. Below are some of the vitals, and attached is the photo flier.
P.S. The snow sort of covers up some stuff in the pictures, but the cabin and surrounding grounds are truly stunning during the spring, summer, and fall
